Below is the admission requirements and steps
Our Goal
The goal of the course is to upgrade and assess the knowledge and competences of candidates who register for the programmes of the College in relevant pharmaceutical and related sciences.
Specialty Programs
- Faculty Of Clinical Pharmacy
- Faculty Of Community and Family Practice
- Faculty Of Drug and Herbal Medicine Discovery, Development and Production
- Faculty Of Quality Assurance
- Faculty Of Social and Administrative Pharmacy
- Faculty Of Public Health
For Persons with Fellowship from other Institutions
- Applicants should have practiced following their fellowship for at least 3 years in the relevant area of practice.
- Applicants should be involved with a professional organisation.
- Applicants should have been involved in percepting/mentoring/teaching candidates of the College in the relevant area of practice.
- Applicants should have publications in the relevant area of practice.

Provisional Fees
1. Fees for Pharmacists practicing in Ghana :Gh₵11,500.
2. Fees for foreign Pharmacists :$10,000.
For Persons without Fellowship
- Applicants should have practiced for at least 10 years in the relevant area of practice. If the applicant is a Member of the Ghana College of Pharmacists, should have practiced for a period of 5 years in the relevant area of practice.
- Applicants should be involved with a professional organisation.
- Applicants should have been involved in percepting/mentoring/teaching candidates of the College in the relevant area of practice.
- Applicants should have publications in the relevant area of practice.

PROCEDURE
- Application form for nomination should be completed and submitted online with requisite documentation.
- Application should be endorsed by two Fellows of the relevant Faculty including the Head of Faculty.
- The application is submitted to the Faculty Board for review and response within one week of deadline for application.
- The Faculty Board responds within two weeks of receipt.
- Response is submitted to Academic Board for review within one week.
- The Academic Board will take a decision within two weeks of receipt.
- Decision is submitted to Council for ratification at its next meeting, and in any event, no later than the last meeting before the AGM.
- The applicable fee shall be paid into the College account by the applicant.
