Pharm. yaw agyei-henaku

Mr. Yaw Agyei-Henaku; BPharm. (Hons.), FGCPharm, MPSGh, ASQ-CQA, CMSS.

From 2013 to 2025, I worked with CePAT/USP Ghana managing both the laboratory and organizational management systems. I also provided technical training and support for the USP/USAID PQM  project among other projects. I was a Senior Technical Advisor, Laboratory System Strengthening & Quality Management Systems at USP Ghana at the time of the closure of PQM+ project in June 2025.

I am a registered pharmacist, a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, and a Fellow of the Ghana College of Pharmacists. I am a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and a ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Assessor. I am also an Exemplar Global Certified Management System Specialist (CMSS), ISO 9001 Lead Assessor and a PECB certified lead assessor for ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety management systems.

I provide consultancy services – Management Systems Auditing, and Capacity building and training in Laboratory System Strengthening and Quality Systems (ISO 9001 & WHO TRS 1025, ISO 15189 & SLIPTA, ISO/IEC 17025 & WHO TRS 1052) for accreditation/certification of laboratory management systems and quality systems.

I also have over 18 years of mixed experience from Ghana Standards Board, Kinapharma Ltd., and  Kasapreko Co. Ltd. in Standardization and Quality Management Systems installation and maintenance, quality control of pharmaceuticals, herbal medicines and cosmetics/household chemicals, Inspection and regulation of pharmaceutical / herbal medicine (natural plant products) manufacturing facilities; Pharmaceutical manufacturing, Pharmaceutical GMP and Pharmaceutical regulatory affairs; Quality control of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, R&D and related regulatory affairs.

I am married with two daughters.
