Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, known in private life as Bernard Aboagye Owiredu, is the King of Akwamuman (Akwamu State), one of the oldest Akan States in Ghana, West Africa. He is a highly respected visionary, dynamic leader and avid pursuer of the welfare of his people through his staunch advocacy for better education, targeted tourism, and development of entrepreneurship skills. His ‘Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III Foundation’ is a lifeline for many brilliant but needy young people, funding and producing graduates not only from Akwamuman but accross Ghana.
Professionally, He is a Health Service Administrator; graduating from the University of Central Florida with BSc in Health Service Administration and later with an (EMBA, Project Management) from the University of Ghana Business School.
Odeneho Kwafo Akoto is also the Chairman of Bavako Investment Company Limited, through which he established Bavako Farms, to provide training and employment opportunities for the youth of his community, and to support Government’s agenda to increase the nation’s GDP by reducing importation of farm produce, including poultry and related products.
Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III is the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Ghana College of Pharmacists from 2019 to date.
